What I offer

Every dog is different, so walks are matched to your dog's age, energy and temperament. If you are not sure what suits, just ask and we will work it out together at the meet and greet.

Group walks

An hour out in the fields and woods with a small, well matched group of dogs. Great for sociable dogs who love a good run about.

£13.50 per hour

Solo walks

One to one time for dogs who prefer their own company, are still building confidence, or need lead work and a calmer pace.

Puppy visits

A 30 minute visit for young pups not yet ready for full walks. Toilet break, a play, a cuddle and some gentle lead practice.

£8 per 30 min visit

Home visits

For older dogs, cats and small pets. Feeding, medication, a short potter round the garden and some company while you are out.

£8 per 30 min visit

Second dog from the same household is half price on all walks. Weekend and bank holiday walks are available by arrangement. More about each service.

Hello, I'm Yaz, the one at the front of the pack

I have lived in Long Melford for years and spent most of that time out on the footpaths with a dog or two at my heels. Chasing Tails started because friends kept asking if I would take their dogs out too, and it turns out there is nothing I would rather be doing.

I keep groups small so I can actually watch every dog, and I take the time to learn what makes each one tick. Some want to run until they drop, some want to sniff every hedge, and some just want to walk beside you. All of them are welcome.

You will get a quick message and a photo after every walk, so you always know how your dog got on.

How it works

  1. Get in touch

    Send a message or give me a call and tell me a bit about your dog and what you need. I will come back to you within the day.

  2. Free meet and greet

    I pop round to meet you both at home. We go through routines, quirks, keys and any medical bits, and your dog gets to size me up.

  3. Off we go

    Your dog joins the pack. Regular slots are booked in, and you get a photo and a quick update after every walk.

I am based in Long Melford and cover the villages within about five miles. If you are a little further out, ask anyway and I will see what I can do.
